IMPORTANT DATES:
December 15 – Field Trip
December 18 – Early Release at 11:30
December 21 – January 1 – Winter Vacation
UPCOMING TESTS:
Monday – Math test retakes for those who failed
Wednesday – Monthly phonogram test
Thursday – Spelling test
HOMEWORK:
Monday - Write spelling words from 5 times each and make up a sentence for
each word (must do both)
Tuesday – No homework (field trip day)
Wednesday/Thursday – Language Arts worksheets and/or Math worksheets
Friday – Winter break packet (students who turn in packets will receive a homework pass)
FYI:
Our holiday party will be on Thursday, December 17 after lunch..
Holiday grams will be delivered on Friday, December 18. Order forms were sent home last week.
On our last Dress Down Day, I collected $10.00. The money will go toward art supplies.
Please send your child to school with a water bottle. We have a water cooler in the room and no drinking fountain close by our room.
You can receive an Arizona tax credit by donating money to your favorite school (hopefully, it’s Liberty)! Information is available in the office. Donations are only accepted until December 31st for this tax year.

UPCOMING TESTS:
Thursday – Math
Friday – Weekly phonogram & spelling tests
HOMEWORK:
Monday - Write spelling words from List #1 5 times each and make up a sentence for
each word (must do both)
Tuesday - Write spelling words from List #2 5 times each and make up a sentence for
each word (must do both)
Thursday – Language Arts worksheets and/or Math worksheets
Friday – If all students turn in their homework, there will be no weekend homework; otherwise, Language Arts worksheet and/or Math worksheet
FYI:
Student council will be selling hot chocolate, pickles, and snacks this week and next week.
On our last Dress Down Day, I collected $16.00. The money will go toward construction paper and Kleenex.
We are having a field trip on December 15. We are going to a farm. The cost is $6.50 per student/chaperone. Chaperones must have a fingerprint card on file in the office.
Please send your child to school with a water bottle. We have a water cooler in the room and no drinking fountain close by our room.
Please look over any work and your child’s report in the blue weekly folders. There should not be any surprises on how your child is doing if the folders are reviewed. Some of the children have lost their folders. It is okay to replace the blue folder if needed.
