May 21, 2012 Dear Parents and Guardians, We have had an incredible year and I will be missing this class. I want to thank all of the parents who helped out in the classroom and on field trips throughout the year. A big thanks for ensuring homework got done! I hope that it taught your child the importance of taking responsibility. I wish all students and families a joyous vacation, and I hope to see your child doing well in the future. Friday – If all students turn in their homework, there will be no weekend homework; otherwise, Language Arts worksheet and/or Math worksheet

FYI:

From now on, students will take a practice spelling test on Thursdays. Anyone who passes with an 80% (A or B) or better will not have to take the test on Friday.

Next Tuesday is Valentine’s Day and Arizona’s 100th birthday. Students are welcome to bring valentines to exchange with their classmates.

The student council is selling hot chocolate before school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost ranges from $1.00 to $1.50

Report cards went home on Friday. Please review grades and return the envelope signed.

Book orders are due on Friday.
