This week, we will be working on the following:

Phonograms 1-33
Handwriting practice on letters m, n, p, r, t, v, w, x, y
Comparing numbers (greater than, less than)
Maps & timelines
Clouds and rain
Reading fluently

IMPORTANT DATES:
September 11 – Patriot’s Day
September 12 – Grandparent’s Day

UPCOMING TESTS:
Wednesday – Reading unit test
Thursday – Weekly phonogram test
Friday - Weekly spelling test

HOMEWORK:

Tuesday - Write spelling words 5 times each

Wednesday - Spelling word sentence worksheet

Thursday – Language Arts worksheet and math worksheets

Friday – If all students turn in their homework, there will be no weekend homework; otherwise, Language Arts worksheet and Math worksheet


FYI:
There will be a Homework Help night on September 23 from 5-7. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend to see how they can help their child complete homework.

PE is on Friday. Please have your child dress appropriately by wearing sneakers and pants or shorts.
