Dear Parents and Guardians,

WELCOME TO 2011!
This week, we will be working on the following:

Phonograms 1-62
Addition using counting on method
Ancient Arizona civilizations
Plants
Winter


UPCOMING TESTS:
Thursday – Weekly phonogram
Friday – Weekly spelling

HOMEWORK:
Monday - Write spelling words 5 times each

Tuesday – Write a sentence for each spelling word

Wednesday/Thursday – Language Arts worksheets and/or Math worksheets

Friday – If all students turn in their homework, there will be no weekend homework; otherwise, Language Arts worksheet and/or Math worksheet

Welcome back students! We have lots of work to do to get ready for 2nd grade. So, let’s put our thinking caps back on and work hard for the rest of the year!

Bully Prevention Week will be 17-21 January.
