This week, we will be working on the following:

Skip counting
Solids
Arizona symbols
Long vowel i words
Short vowel u words
Writing a thank you letter
Reading comprehension
IMPORTANT DATES:
April 11-15 – AIMS Testing week
April 22 & 25– No School/Easter Break
UPCOMING TESTS:
Thursday – Phonogram, Practice spelling
Friday – Spelling
HOMEWORK:
Monday – Write spelling words from list #1 5 times each and make up at least 5 sentences (must do both)
Tuesday – Write spelling words from list #2 5 times each and make up at least 5 sentences (must do both)
Wednesday/Thursday – Language Arts worksheets and/or Math worksheets
FYI:
Thanks to all the parents who showed up for their conference appointments last week.
Next week is AIMS test week. Although first grade is not involved, there will be no specials that week.
