Animal groups
How animals grow and change
Plant needs
Writing a thank you note
Contractions
Literacy centers


IMPORTANT DATES:
January 22 – Report cards go home

UPCOMING TESTS:
Tuesday – Science
Friday – Spelling & weekly phonogram

HOMEWORK:
Tuesday – Write spelling words 5 times each and make up a sentence for
each word (must do both)

Wednesday/Thursday – Language Arts worksheets and/or Math worksheets

Friday – If all students turn in their homework, there will be no weekend homework; otherwise, Language Arts worksheet and/or Math worksheet

FYI:
Thanks to all parents for ensuring that your child is complying with the dress code.

The student council will be selling pickles at lunch time and snacks after school this week

There will be an assembly on Friday (The Ned Show) and yo-yos can be ordered afterward for $6.50.

Our next field trip will be March 30 at Glendale Community College for Water Safety Day. Chaperones will be needed. If anyone would like to go, please plan ahead and get a fingerprint card to the office before this date.
