Dear Parents and Guardians,

This week, we will be working on the following:

Phonograms 1-67
Adjectives
Land and water
Chinese New Year
Plants
Reading comprehension

IMPORTANT DATES:
February 14 – Valentine’s Day

UPCOMING TESTS:
Thursday – Practice spelling test
Friday – Weekly phonogram/Spelling

HOMEWORK:
Monday – Write spelling words from list #1 5 times each and make up 5 sentences

Tuesday – Write spelling words from list #2 5 times each and make up 5 sentences

Wednesday/Thursday – Language Arts worksheets and/or Math worksheets

Friday – If all students turn in their homework, there will be no weekend homework; otherwise, Language Arts worksheet and/or Math worksheet

FYI:

We will have a dragon parade on Friday at approximately 2:00 in celebration of Chinese New Year.

Our Valentine’s Party will be on Monday at 2:00.
